Ceremony services

Meaningful ceremonies, created for real people.

No two families, couples or lives are the same. I begin by listening to what matters to you, then create a ceremony shaped by your values, personality and chosen traditions.

English, Spanish and other languages

One language or two, with a natural flow.

I was born in Australia, lived and worked in the United Kingdom, and have lived in Spain since 2004. I'm married to a Spaniard and fluent in Spanish, so I can write and lead your ceremony in English, Spanish or both. I once officiated a ceremony in Spanish and Swiss German with the help of a close friend of the couple. If you'd like to include another language, please ask and we can work out the details. A bilingual ceremony is carefully worded so that everyone can follow and feel included. It should never sound like the same speech being repeated twice.

Planning can take place by email, phone or video call, so we can prepare everything even if you live abroad or can't visit Spain before the event.

What is included

Everything here comes with your ceremony.

Your ceremony, written for you

Not a template with your names dropped into it.

The full choreography

Who stands where, who moves when, and what happens next, so that nobody is guessing on the day.

A commemorative certificate

Signed during the ceremony.

Me, at the end of a telephone

WhatsApp or email if you would rather, from the day you book to the day itself.

Officiating the ceremony

Of course.

Travel

Included up to an hour from Moraira, and quoted beyond that depending on the distance.

As long as you want it to be

How long should your ceremony be?

That is yours to decide, and I will help you decide it. Some people want a simple fifteen minutes. Most land somewhere between twenty and thirty. Others want the best part of an hour, and that can be lovely.

There are one or two practical things I will ask you to think about. Will your guests be standing in the hot sun? A bilingual ceremony takes longer than the same ceremony in one language, because it is not simply the same words said twice. And an hour is a long time to sit still. By then people are twitching and eyeing the bar.

Pricing

From €675, including 21% Spanish IVA (VAT).

Every ceremony I write is bespoke, so there is one price to start from rather than a set of packages to decode.

A second language, travel beyond an hour from Moraira, and a printed order of service are quoted on top, and I will tell you exactly what yours comes to before you commit to anything. A deposit of €200 reserves your date.

Your ideas are welcome

Your ceremony doesn't need to fit a template.
