Funerals and celebrations of life

A goodbye that sounds like the person you knew.

A funeral can hold grief and gratitude together. I’ll help you create a ceremony that is honest about the loss and true to the life, character and relationships being remembered.

Listening comes first

You do not need to find all the words by yourself.

I have led funerals and understand how much families may be carrying while practical decisions still have to be made. We can take the conversation gently and focus first on the person who has died.

I’ll listen for the stories, qualities and small details that bring them to life in the room. The ceremony does not have to turn somebody into a saint or avoid the complexity of a real life. It can be loving, truthful and recognisable.

A personal farewell

The ceremony can hold what matters most.

1

Their story

A thoughtful tribute shaped from memories, milestones, relationships, humour and the details people will recognise.

2

Your voices

Family and friends can speak, read, choose music or ask me to share words on their behalf.

3

Your beliefs

The ceremony can be non-religious, spiritual, religious or a respectful blend that reflects the person and family.

Room for the whole person

Solemnity and warmth can sit side by side.

There may be tears. There may also be affection, laughter and stories that could only belong to this person. We’ll agree a tone that feels right, without forcing either sadness or celebration.

The ceremony can be in English, Spanish or both. This can be especially helpful when family and friends live in different countries or the person made their life in Spain.

If time is short, contact me with whatever information you have. We can begin there.

Pricing

From €675, including 21% Spanish IVA (VAT).

Every ceremony I write is bespoke, so there is one price to start from rather than a set of packages to decode.

A second language, travel beyond an hour from Moraira, and a printed order of service are quoted on top, and I will tell you exactly what yours comes to before you commit to anything. A deposit of €200 reserves your date.

Begin where you are

Tell me about the person you want to remember.

You can share a few details or simply ask what happens next. There is no need to have everything ready before you contact me.
