Hypnotherapy wherever you are

Online hypnotherapy

You can have a personal hypnotherapy session in the privacy and comfort of your own space, wherever you happen to be.

I use the same personal approach and many of the same methods online as I do in the clinic.

The same personal approach

A real session, adapted for meeting online.

You don't have to drive afterwards, so you can stay where you are and enjoy the calm afterglow of hypnosis.

I adapt the practical details to the technology and make sure you know exactly what to expect.

Before the appointment

Once we have confirmed your appointment, you'll receive an email with your Google Meet link. Click it at the appointment time and I'll be there waiting for you.

Session times are given in Madrid, Spain time. If you're elsewhere, please check the time difference before the day.

A safe, comfortable space

Prepare your room and seating.

Home safety check

If you'll be alone at home, make the checks you would normally make before going to bed:

  • Turn off gas and electrical appliances, including hobs, ovens, fires, candles and incense.
  • Lock the doors.
  • Make sure you have given me an emergency name and contact number. It is very unlikely that it will be needed, but unexpected things can sometimes happen.

Seating and camera position

  • Sit safely, preferably on a sofa, armchair or chair with armrests, where you won’t fall if you happen to nod off.
  • Keep a phone or tablet in a stable position.
  • Sit with your feet flat on the floor and your legs not crossed.
  • I need to be able to see your face and hands. Two cushions on your lap usually work well.

Get yourself comfy

Give yourself 15 quiet minutes beforehand.

Recommended seated position for an online hypnotherapy session

Prepare yourself

  • Go to the loo and make sure the room temperature is comfortable.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
  • Relax and take some nice deep breaths to prepare for a wonderful experience and new learning.
  • Have a glass of water and a box of tissues to hand.

If other people are at home

  • Ensure they know not to disturb you for the duration of the session.
  • Ask them to be quiet.

Minimise distractions

  • Ensure pets are supervised if necessary and kept quiet for the session.
  • Put your phone on silent, close messaging apps and minimise other distractions.

If technology interrupts

What to do if the internet disconnects.

It rarely happens, and if it does, it's no problem.

You'll notice that I've stopped speaking. Reconnect using the same Google Meet link and I'll help you settle again so we can carry on.

If you're having trouble reconnecting, send me a WhatsApp message on +34 637 321 798.

After your session

Give yourself a little time and space.

  • Take it easy for the rest of the day if you can.
  • You don't need to analyse everything that happened. Let the experience settle in its own time.
  • Drink some water, look after yourself and spend a little time in nature if that feels good.

Ready when you are

Ask whether online hypnotherapy is right for you.

Tell me what you need and ask me anything you like. I'll explain how an online session could work for you.
